Hallelujah!! The wait is over.
The California Harness Horsemen's Association is proud to
announce that, for once, a rumor is true. Many southern
California horse owners and several fans have heard the
rumors and have called our office to confirm that
simulcasting of harness racing is back at Los Alamitos!!!
The entire grandstand, clubhouse, and especially the Vessels
Club, will be accepting wagers on, and showing the harness
races being simulcast from Cal-Expo.
Even though chilly nights are forecast for the Sacramento
area, it's going to be hot at Los Alamitos when the harness
signal comes back on with a flourish. Beginning with the
first race on Friday, April 8, the harness simulcast will be
available anywhere you choose to sit and especially anywhere
you choose to wager.
When contacted today, President Ben Kenney exclaimed, "I can
hardly wait to go to the races Saturday night. I am so
excited about the return of harness racing to its previous
coverage. I truly enjoy having dinner at the Vessels Club,
seeing old friends and meeting other owners and fans. I hope
all southern California owners and fans will come out, enjoy
the races, and support our sport over the weekend and in the
future."
