Lets Get’m Ready! - A 28 race series for 2- and 3-year-old Cal-Sired horses is scheduled for the Sacramento Harness Association meet this fall. There will be four rounds for 2-year-olds in each gait beginning on Oct. 5, and continuing essentially every other week through Nov. 16. There will be three rounds for 3-year-olds beginning on September 28th. Current minimum purse for each race is currently set at $18,000, with the possibility of increases based on income over the next few weeks. This purse level reflects strong support from the Sacramento Harness Association and the CHHA. The final purse level will be announced prior to the first race. In addition to the Stakes series, the Sacramento Harness Association will offer a $10,000 “Preview” series for stakes eligible 2-year-olds on Sept. 28. These races will be carded as overnight.

Stallion Registration - The annual stallion registration fee of $200.00 to be paid by the licensed stallion owner is due on or before November 30, 2005. A supplemental payment of $1,000.00 may be made by February 1, 2006 in lieu of the November 30, 2005 payment of $200.00. A copy of the 2005 Stallion Nomination form is enclosed.

Sustaining Payments - The second sustaining payment for two year olds is due December 15, 2005.
